What homeowners come to us with

The homeowners loved their wooded property but felt boxed in during long Western New York winters. Previous three-season porch proposals were rejected because they would be freezing and unusable from November to April.

How we build it

We excavated a full perimeter frost foundation and framed a fully insulated thermal envelope. Designed a custom roof pitch to blend seamlessly with the original architecture, installed low-E argon insulated casement units, and plumbed in-floor hydronic heating.

What you end up with

A warm, sun-drenched room that stays 70 degrees during zero-degree January snowstorms, offering 270-degree panoramic woodland views and the warmth of a stone hearth.
