What homeowners come to us with
The previous fiberglass insert had a tall step-over curb and failing caulked joints that leaked into the ceiling below. Inadequate exhaust ventilation caused chronic humidity issues, and standard builder vanity offered poor storage.
How we build it
We stripped the room to the bare framing and sistered recessed subfloor joists to create a true curbless plane. The entire wet zone received a continuous bonded waterproofing membrane before large-format limestone and vertical fluted porcelain tiles were installed with precision epoxy grout.
What you end up with
A seamless, accessible wet room with an illuminated recessed niche, matte black thermostatic shower controls, a custom floating white oak double vanity, and a warm heated tile floor.
